Beaune - Wines and fragrance : Sensory activity!

Description"There is no such thing as chance, there are only meetings", or more precisely, There is no chance, there are only appointments”, or more precisely encounters!
Between a passion for the world of perfumes and a family history in Burgundy, between lovers of perfume and wine, all in search of sensory awakening, epicureanism and sharing.
For 2 hours, immerse yourself in a unique olfactory universe mixing wine tasting and the art of perfumery. You will discover the aromas of a white wine and a red wine of Burgundy thanks to the raw materials used by perfume composers.
On the agenda:
• Presentation of the aromas of Burgundy wines and the mechanisms of olfaction
• With the perfumers' method, olfaction of raw materials using the aromas of wine: stimulation of direct olfaction to prepare for tasting
• Sensory tasting of white wine and red wine with aromatic characterization
• For each wine tasted, discover a fragrance with distinctive notes of its aromatic profile

Further informationThis activity includes a wine tasting: minors (aged 15 and over) or adults who do not drink alcohol will be offered a glass of grape juice.
Please present yourself at the Cité reception desk to be directed to the activity room.
The fee does not include admission to the scenographic tour.
This workshop may involve the use of essential oils, rich in active ingredients, which should be handled with care and are not recommended for certain audiences (pregnant women, people with allergies or skin conditions, etc.). A waiver must be signed at the beginning of the workshop.
