DescriptionThe Grands Crus course takes place on a Saturday. A unique half-day for wine lovers from all over the world. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Burgundy wines and discover, glass in hand, some of Burgundy's legendary Grands Crus!
This exceptional wine tasting course, dedicated to the Grands Crus of Burgundy, reveals the entire history of a region, from its vineyards to the know-how of its winemakers.
This tasting course is open to all, although it is recommended for wine lovers with some prior knowledge of Burgundy wines and wine tasting.
Facilitated by a trainer from the Ecole des vins (oenologist or sommelier); Educational documentation; Lecture with video projection; Guided tasting of 8 Grands Crus de Bourgogne appellations.

  • Introduction to the fundamental aspects of wine-growing Bourgogne : notion of terroir and the Climats
  • The Grands Cru appellations of Bourgogne : history, geographical location, origin, classification, legislation and labelling
A refresher in tasting techniques :
  • Tasting methodology and techniques (visual, olfactory, taste aspects)
